"There is no such thing as a witchcraft bird," the lady says, revealing how ignorant Nigerians are.

Toni Payne

The ex-wife of well-known Nigerian artist Toni Payne has made remarks regarding the lack of knowledge among Nigerians, letting them know that a "witchcraft bird" does not exist.

This happened after Anderson Pascal, a Facebook user, shared pictures of what appeared to be a "witchcraft bird" that was meant to murder her.

She claimed on Facebook that God prayed against the powers of witchcraft and killed the bird on her behalf.

When Toni Payne saw this, she took to Instagram to let everyone know that there is no such thing as it.

The naturalist and photographer begged Nigerians to put an end to the killing of defenceless birds.

Her message reads:

To a few Nigerians,

There is no such thing as witchcraft bird

Please put an end to this madness and the death of innocent birds.

I cannot emphasise more how important education is.

I'm working on a project that should be beneficial. Please put an end to the madness.
