Father of ‘mummy calm down’ by finally breaks silence following wife’s demise
After his wife's death, the father of "mummy calm down" eventually breaks his silence.
After his wife passed away unexpectedly, the father of the well-known "mummy calm down" child has recently spoken out.
The young man, however, gave a different account of his wife's horrific passing than their neighbours had.Questions concerning the circumstances surrounding her death have been raised by the incident in Benin City, Edo State.
Lawal said he found their two-year-old wailing when he came back from the supermarket. Upon entering the residence, he saw his spouse dangling from a ceiling-mounted rope. He loosened the rope swiftly and asked their neighbours for help.
He stated that when his neighbours showed up, they assisted
him in getting the rope off his wife's neck.
Lawal's neighbours, however, have disputed his account. They say they found him on top of his wife and didn't even mention a rope when they responded to his cries for help. The investigation has become even more problematic as a result of this inconsistent testimony.
Recall that in 2021, Toluige Olokobi Babalola and her child were well-known online when a video went viral of the young child pleading with her and telling her to "calm down and rest a little."
This week, a Twitter user said that Toluige committed suicide in Benin, Edo State, for unspecified reasons, delivering the devastating news of her passing.
In light of the conflicting reports, the Edo State Police Command has opened a thorough investigation into Toluige's premature death.
The matter has been forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) by Commissioner of Police Muhammad Dankwara, according to Police Public Relations Officer Chidi Nwabuzor.
The rope and a purported suicide note that Toluige wrote have been found by the police. However, investigators were confused as no signs of violence were found on the deceased's corpse.
The need for a comprehensive investigation to ascertain the cause of Toluige's premature death has increased due to the absence of concrete proof.
