Make sure this palliative gets to the less privileged, says Hon. ( Chief) Combolous Ikisa as he Inaugurates Palliative Distribution Committee
In order to effectively distribute food items purchased to mitigate the impact of subsidy removal throughout the local government, Chief Combolous Ikisa, the Executive Chairman, has inaugurated a 7-man palliative distribution committee with Hon. Paul Kurugbe as coordinator.
The Council Chairman instructed the committee to guarantee that the less privileged, the venerable and disables in the local government receive the palliative.
According to him, the committee is inuagurated to ensure accuracy and transpirancy in the distribution process.
The Council Chairman thereafter thanked his Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the show of love to Deltans at this hard time. He then urged the committee to work out necessary modalities for the distribution of the palliative.
in response,.Hon. Paul Kurugbe thanked the council chairman for finding them worthy to serve in the committee.
He assured that the committee would work hard to ensure a hitch-free distribution across the local government to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal.
Members of the Committee include; Comrade Suiwari Edinini, President, Youth Council, Burutu LGA, Pst. Atiye Rames, President, PFN, Burutu LGA, Okobosou Ebifemere, Leader, women society, Rev. Iyofa Success Sofnegha, representing CAN Chairman, Burutu LGA, Comrade Ayabotu Benard, Chairman of NULGE, and Chief. Hon. Afrobeni Boke, representing the Pere of Oporomo Kingdom.
The Committee will in turn Inaugurates other splitter Committee in the ward level to work with.
