Hon. (Chief) Combolous Ekisa Pays Condolence Visit to Chief. Barrister Smooth

Warri____Hon. Chief Combolous Ekisa, Vice Chairman Burutu Local Government paid a condolence visit to the Paddle of Niger Delta, Chief Barrister Smooth who has been heartbroken over the death of five of his band members in a crash that occurred along the Kogi-Abuja Road on the 11th of June.

The Vice Chairman who was accompanied by the political adviser to the Council Chairman, Mr. Edoukumor Michael, Barr. Zimughan Martins, and other top officials of the council arrived at the residence of Barrister Smooth to commiserate with him.

Hon.( Chief) Combolous Ekisa rolled out words of encouragement to Smooth. He urged him to take solace because God knows best. He said death is inevitable and that all humans will face it one day. 

The incoming Chairman of Burutu Local Government, Hon. (Chief) Combolous Ekisa  stood before Smooth and spoke with wisdom. 

"I'm a huge fan of yours and your music is an inspiration to many generations.. I have come  to beg you not to cry again. Many families who have lost loved ones have found solace in your music.. Today, it has happened to you, but you must take solace because God knows best. Your music has inspired countless Niger Deltans and Nigerians to greatness. On behalf of the good people of Burutu Local Government, I plead with you to  return to the stage as soon as possible"  He said.
